SORA Methodology for Multi-UAS Airframe Inspections in an Airport

چکیده
Deploying Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) in safety- and business-critical operations requires demonstrating compliance with applicable regulations a comprehensive understanding of the residual risk associated UAS operation. To support these activities enable safe deployment into civil airspace, European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has established regulatory framework that mandates execution safety assessment for order to gain authorization carry out certain types operations. Driven by this framework, Joint Authorities Rulemaking on (JARUS) released Specific Operation Risk Assessment (SORA) methodology guides systematic However, existing work SORA its applications focuses mainly single operations, offering limited assuring conducted multiple autonomous features. Therefore, presented paper analyzes application Multi-UAS airframe inspection (AFI) operation, involves deploying features inside an airport. We present decision-making process each step scenario. The results shows procedures included Multi-AFI operation such as workspace segmentation, independent multi-UAS AFI crew proposed, mitigation actions provide confidence can be safely receive positive evaluation from competent authorities. also our key findings discuss how it extended better

In this paper we explore established methods for optimising multi-objective functions whilst addressing the problem of preliminary design. Methods from the literature are investigated and new ones introduced. All methods are evaluated within a collaborative project with British Aerospace for whole system airframe design and the basic problems and difficulties of preliminary design methodology a...

متن کاملMixed Logit Modelling of Airport Choice in Multi-airport Regions
This paper presents an analysis of the choice of airport by air-travellers departing from the San Francisco Bay area. The analysis uses the mixed multinomial logit model, which allows for a random distribution of tastes across decision-makers. To our knowledge, this is the first application using this model form in the analysis of airport choice. The results indicate that there is significant h...
